Ethiopia Grade 1 Yirgacheffe
Ethiopia Grade 1 Yirgacheffe
This Grade 1, high grown coffee comes from the Chelchele washing station, in the famous Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. Typically, smallholder farmers in this region do not use fertilizers or pesticides in the production of coffee, and they bring their coffee cherries to the village washing station to be washed and dried on raised beds.
Yirgacheffe is the birth place of the Coffea Arabica plant, and is renowned for producing some of the world's finest coffees. Due to the high altitude, and handpicked sorting process, this coffee has an exceptionally clean taste with balanced acidity, good body, and notes of cocoa, kahlua, and almonds. We roast this coffee light to bring out the extraordinary quality.

I like that there is no bitterness at all. A nice cup of coffee.
This is one of the best country/region coffees for deep flavour. This did not disappoint
I'm an ex-barista so I'm picky about my coffee, especially now that I pay for it. This stuff is better than any of the stuff I used to get for free, and that's saying something!
